Hi Guys,

It's been a while since I've posted one of these.

Life has been interesting as of late just finished up the holiday season and I find myself with a bit of free time on my hands. As I continue to look for work as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer or a stable 9 to 5 job (which by the way if you have any leads for me please let me know) I feel a desire to go back to the reason I wanted to be an illustrator in the first place, comics, animation and story telling.

While the process of creating a comic, animation or narrative art is long and arduous, I can't help but feel it's a creative Endeavour I not only would like to spend more time on but also should spend more time on.  After all what is the point of doing work if there is little joy or sense of accomplishment in what you are doing. So that is what I am striving for in this New Year. More comics, more art and perhaps even setting up my own business to the point where I could sell them. Lofty goals but I know if I make an honest effort to put my mind to them I will accomplish them.

hey guys
so a lots changed since my last journal entry. I've graduated from columbia college in chicago with a BFA in illustration and i'm currently doing freelance work and job searching.  on a more personal level i've recently found myself  on the market as single yet again. yes it sucks no i dont want to go into it.  but who knows maybe there's some grand plan for me that i'm have not been made aware of.  anyhow
I was mainly posting this entry to give you an update on my life and to see if anyone would be interested in me drawing something for them via commissions or freelance work. anyhow if your interested let me know and we can work something out!

you would think getting paid money for doing something your interested in would be more fulfilling than it is.
or maybe that's just me.
i have 2 internships and a job and currently feel like i'm butter spread over too much bread. on top of that i've been so busy i havent had much time to draw. its really start to bum me out.
maybe i sold out a little too much.
well hopefully i'll survive this
i'll post more when i have something too post

in a week it will be upon us meaning this week is the time i need to get all my shit straightened out.
currently i need to :
brush out and style my wig
make neccessary repairs to my asuka costume
by more knee highs for my orihime costume
come up with a cute outfit for the soap bubble
and figure out my food situation for that day
not to mention PACK EVERYTHING
as well as APPLY FOR EVERY INTERSHIP I CAN FIND THAT SOMEHOW RELATES TO ART
after ACEN my main summer goals is to do some work that relates back to the field i'm interested in whether its actually starting up a web comic, selling stickers or other various merchandise,  or just creating kick ass portfolio pieces.  but i dont want to be lazy this summer art wise ive got to find ways to do stuff i enjoy and eventually get paid for it. so youll probably be hearing from me more this summer or seeing stuff thats new.

btw if anyone has a good sticker making or pin making website that will sell them for cheap please let me know.

anyhow everyone have a great acen/ summer and be safe!

2-3 weeks to go and then acen! that's how i'll be celebrating my penultimate semester. since i'm not... well you know... graduating.. so lately i'm trying to make a new set of stickers each week to give to people. i think the next set will be more owls. it seems that all my stickers so far are bird themed. maybe theres something i should explore there...
will try to update but updates will probably few until the semesters over. then again you never know with me.
